The Khatra customized tile production process is divided into two main categories: ODM and OEM
1. ODM – Designed and manufactured based on Client’s ideas
1.1. Requirement Intake
The client sends reference images. KHATRA reviews and clarifies detailed requirements to ensure feasibility and suggest suitable solutions.
1.2. Proposal and Prototyping
Based on the client’s images/ideas, the factory’s design team drafts a concrete tile concept.
One or more sample options are then manufactured and sent to Vietnam for client review and approval.

1.3. Sample Approval and Contract Signing
Once the sample is approved, the client finalizes the quantity, signs the contract, and makes a 30% deposit of the contract value.
1.4. Production and Shipping
Tiles are produced at the factory precisely following the approved design. Production and shipping time to Vietnam: 30–45 days

1.5. Delivery and Payment
KHATRA notifies the client upon arrival. The client inspects the goods and pays the remaining balance. KHATRA delivers to the agreed location as stated in the contract.

2. OEM – Manufacturing to Design Specifications
2.1. Requirement Intake
The client sends design ideas and specifications regarding desired material, dimensions, shape, and color. KHATRA reviews and clarifies detailed requirements to ensure feasibility and propose optimal solutions.
Here is an example where KHATRA produced customized tiles for the Bason District 1 swimming pool project. The client already had material samples (3D renderings, colors, dimensions) and wanted to upgrade the surface to R10 – R11 slip-resistant finish
Another example: for the White Palace Vo Van Kiet project, the design team was looking for a bamboo-stalk tile model, with the brief to recreate a green bamboo forest

KHATRA proposed a convex bamboo-stalk tile sample, achieving the desired color and surface texture, but it presented installation challenges.

Subsequently, switching to a concave tile solution based on the Bat Trang ceramic tile sample provided by the project designers, KHATRA proceeded to manufacture Porcelain tiles.
2.2. Sampling and Physical Review
- KHATRA receives the reference sample, sends it to the factory for cross-matching, and produces test samples matching the existing design
- Samples are sent to Vietnam for client inspection and sign-off.

2.3. Sample Approval and Contract Signing
After the sample is approved by the client, the client finalizes the quantity, signs the contract, and places a 30% deposit of the order value.

2.4. Production and Shipping
Tiles are produced at the factory strictly according to the approved specifications. Production and shipping time to Vietnam: 30–45 days.
KHATRA notifies the client upon arrival. The client inspects the shipment and settles the balance. KHATRA completes delivery to the contractually agreed location.
